Te reo maori moment

 on ratu /Tuesday  14 of mahuru at 12pm, our akomanga took part in the national reo maori moment. we went and joined Tangaroa on our papa whakaari and called out!!!

maori is my favourite language to speak. my iwi is maori and i like being maori.

 This term we are learning about space. 

On Monday, we went to Kids in Space. Kids in space is a programme that came to my kura.

We got to dress up as an astronaut. I wore an orange suit.

We learnt about how to eat in space and we learnt how far is Mars.

We made a flip books about moon phases. Did you know the moon rotates around the Earth?

We also made a straw rocket.  

I enjoyed making a straw rocket and the moon phases flip book and the suit.
